CSW61 Factsheet: Women’s economic empowerment in the changing world of work

Ahead of the 61st Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW61), the Gender & Development Network has developed a factsheet that provides an overview of the structural economic barriers to women’s economic empowerment. For each of these areas, the factsheet makes recommendations to governments.

Areas covered in the factsheet include:

-          Universal social protection

-          Unpaid care work

-          Discriminatory social norms

-          Corporate regulation

-          An enabling macroeconomic environment
