The Gender and Development Network is currently advertising for an Admin and Communications Intern to support our secretariat. The role is suitable for someone with a passion for international development and women’s rights with an interest in administrative and communications work. The role is for one or two days a week for 6-12 months.

The intern will support the coordinator to carry out routine administrative tasks and will have the opportunity to lead on particular projects. S/he will be responsible for updating GADN social media feeds with content from the network and wider sector, and will upload new content on the GADN website. The intern will also support the organisation of events including members meetings, and will have the opportunity to attend other meetings within the network such as working group meetings.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Tuesday 3rd April. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 11th April 2018.

Please note this is an unpaid role. Volunteers can claim back expenses for travel and lunch up to a total of £12.00 per day.
